Banana bread is a tasty sweet treat that can it very simple to make at home, with just a few ingredients and little effort.

- 240g wholemeal flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 300g mashed overripe bananas
- 4 tbsp agave nectar
- 3 large eggs beaten
- 150 ml low-fat natural yogurt
- 25g chopped pecan or walnuts (optional)
Mix all the dry parts, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
Mix all the wet parts, bananas, nectar, eggs, and yogurt.
Bring wet and dry parts together and mix.
Grease the pan. Pour dough gently into the tin and decorate with nuts, if using. Bake at 160C/140C fan/gas 3, for 1 hr 10 mins-1 hr 15 mins or until a skewer comes out clean.
Cool in tin on a wire rack and serve your banana bread.
