Egg salad sandwich – easy recipe

A creamy simple recipe for a flavorful, delicious sandwich, egg salad sandwich is a perfect snack to make on the go, or as a dish to get everyone at the table.

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 30 g mayonnaise
  • 10 g dijon mustard
  • garlic powder to taste
  • a pinch of salt
  • a pinch of pepper
  • 8 slices of whole wheat bread
  • 4 lettuce leaves


Peel the eggs and chop them into squares. Add the mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, and garlic powder, to a small bowl; stir together to incorporate.

Spread the salad filling on a slice of bread, top with a salad leaf, and the second slice of bread. Cuts if half if preferred and serve.


Instead of bread, crackers can be used to serve.

A slice of ham or bacon can be added to complement the sandwich.
