Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the sliced onion. Let it dry on low heat for a few minutes, stirring often; fray the tuna with a fork and add it to the pan when the onion has softened and let it brown for a couple of minutes, stirring constantly.
Now, mash the peeled tomatoes with a fork and pour them into the pan with the tuna; let the sauce cook for about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, boil the spaghetti; during the cooking time of the pasta, the sauce will also be ready. Drain the spaghetti and place them in the pan with the tuna. Season with ground pepper, turn off the heat and season with fresh basil leaves.

Tips
This recipe can also be made without the tomatoes, simply saute the onion with tuna, season with fresh parsley and mix with the pasta.
